Description
Desktop Power Adapter

How to choose the appropriate power adapter?
Step1: Choose the length of the light strip
We have 5m light strip as an example
Step2:Choose the input voltage12V OR 24V
If you choose the input voltage 12V, then you need the power adapter 12v .
Step3 : Checking each strip consumes a certain amount of power per meter
We can find the number on the product page of the strip light. If the led strip uses 14.4W/m
Step4: Calculate power usage according to the length of the light strip
power usage: 14.4W/m * 5m=72W
Step5: Choose to use 80% of maximum rated power to extend power supply life
72W/80%=90W
Step6: Choose the appropriate according to the above steps
So we select the 12v, 90w
If you have any problem, we’re always available to help with this part
Introduction
Our desktop power adapters are UL certified high quality products. Since the power supply in our home is AC power above 110V, the LED strip we sell are 12v or 24v and require low-voltage DC power input. Therefore, a power adapter is required to convert high-voltage alternating current into low-voltage direct current to supply power to the LED strip. This power adapter can not only be applied to all LED strip lights in our store, but also can be used in cameras, desktop computers, water dispensers and other devices with a power supply interface of DC5.5*2.1mm, and it is small in size, light in weight and convenient carry. We recommend not to use the upper limit of the output power of the power supply, try to use it to 80%, which can prolong the service life of the power supply.
